Nanos - A More Affordable Way to Trade Index Options

Did you know Webull now is supporting Index Options
AuthorWebull Learn

We are excited to announce that Webull continues to expand our offering of Index Options. The list of available Index Options includes SPX, SPXW, XSP, VIX, VIXW, NANOS, DJX, NDX, and NDXP.

Index Options have distinct features compared to Equity Options. Take the S&P 500® Index (SPX) Options as an example, it helps traders gain efficient exposure to the S&P 500 stock market index. In addition, Index Options are based on cash settlement (no delivery of physical shares) and mostly exercised in European style (no early exercise).

Nanos S&P 500 options, or Nanos are a more affordable way to trade Index Options.

  • Nanos is the first one-multiplier option. It means that the displayed price is your actual cost of one contract, without multiplying 100 such as in SPX or XSP option trading.
  • Nanos offers fewer strike prices and expires in no more than one week. Compared to SPX or XSP options, Nanos provides investors with fewer strike prices to choose from.
